Privacy Policy
This policy describes how the Dublin Luas Alexa skill (“the skill”) handles information. The skill is operated by Magio. Contact: hello@magio.ie, or via the Alexa Skills Store listing on amazon.co.uk.
What the skill does
Dublin Luas answers voice questions about Dublin’s Luas light rail using publicly available forecast data. Optional personalisation (home stop, and Luas Plus features such as work stop and favourite stops) is stored so shorter requests like “what’s my tram?” work.

We do not collect your name, email address, precise location, contacts, or payment card details. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising networks.
Legal bases (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)
Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, processing is based on contract (providing the skill you enabled) and consent for optional preferences you set by voice (for example, “set my home stop to Ranelagh”).
UK users may contact the ICO about personal data concerns. We aim to respond to access and erasure requests within one month.
Third parties
Amazon Alexa / AWS host the skill request path and, if you buy Luas Plus, billing and entitlements via amazon.co.uk. Luas / Transport for Ireland public forecast data supplies tram times by stop code, not your identity. This website is hosted on Cloudflare; that host may process standard request logs (IP address, user agent) under its own terms.
Optional AI features, if enabled in a future release, would send utterance text and stop names only (not your Alexa user ID) to a model provider under a data-processing arrangement, and would be disclosed in the skill description before launch.
Your rights
You may change or overwrite preferences by voice, disable or delete the skill in the Alexa app, or email hello@magio.ie to request erasure of the preferences record keyed by your Alexa user ID. Amazon also provides account and skill controls in Alexa privacy settings.
Children
This skill is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children’s data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Material changes affecting purchases or personal data will also be reflected in the Alexa skill listing where required. The current version is always at https://dublin.magio.ie/privacy.
