These terms govern your use of the Dublin Luas Alexa skill and this website at dublin.magio.ie. By enabling or using the skill, you agree to them. Amazon’s Alexa terms also apply.
The skill
Dublin Luas provides voice answers about Dublin’s Luas light rail: departures, journeys, service status, stop information, and optional saved preferences. It is a Magio product. It is not an official Transport for Ireland, Transdev, or Amazon service.
Information accuracy
Times and status come from publicly available Luas forecast data. Trams, disruptions, and operating hours can change without notice. Do not rely on the skill as your only source when missing a tram would cause harm or significant inconvenience. Always follow official notices at stops and on luas.ie.
Amazon
The skill runs on Amazon Alexa. Amazon processes your voice requests and, if In-Skill Purchasing is enabled, billing. Magio does not receive your Amazon password or payment card details.
Luas Plus
Optional paid features, when offered, are sold through Amazon In-Skill Purchasing on amazon.co.uk. Prices, trials, and cancellation are controlled in your Amazon account. Magio does not process those payments directly.
Acceptable use
Use the skill only through Alexa or Magio’s published test tools. Do not attempt to overload, scrape, or interfere with the skill, its hosts, or the upstream forecast feed. Do not use it to impersonate Magio, Transport for Ireland, or Amazon.
Intellectual property
The skill, this website, and Magio branding are owned by Magio. Luas, stop names, and related marks belong to their respective owners. No affiliation or endorsement is implied.
Disclaimer
The skill and website are provided “as is”. Magio does not warrant uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law.
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Magio is not liable for missed trams, travel disruption, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the skill. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Irish or UK consumer law.
Privacy
How we handle information is described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always at https://dublin.magio.ie/terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence, including the United Kingdom.
